Withdrawal Policy

The withdrawal of a student at any time after enrolment or re-enrolment reduces the school’s revenue, but not its’ operating costs. It may also affect decisions and commitments regarding staffing and class configurations that have already been made. Therefore, once a student is enrolled or re-enrolled at Dr.Abdul Qadeer Khan’s School, the parents/guardians are expected to make a financial commitment for the full year. However, there are sometimes serious, unforeseen circumstances that cause a parent/guardian to permanently withdraw a student.

  • Parents/guardians who withdraw a student at any time after enrolment/re-enrolment must provide a minimum of one calendar month’s written notice, no later than the first day of the month otherwise the security deposit will not return.
  • In the event of a temporary absence of a student, the parent/guardian is required to continue to pay tuition installments.

Student Records

School records and the leaving certificate will not be released until all outstanding fees are paid and all school materials and books are returned.

Late Withdrawal

Any current student who fails to show up for school on the first day of school session, without notifying the school or paying tuition fees, will be given two school days to confirm their return by e-mail or phone. If merely arriving late, tuition must be paid to hold the spot. The school will both e-mail and call as a reminder. After two days, the admission will be cancelled and security deposits shall be reserved by the school.

Refund

Security Deposits will only be returned if:

  • All the payables are clear.
  • Prior request of one month.
  • Showing the paid receipt of deposit with request letter.
